Ovumcy runs on your own server. It does not include analytics, ad tracking, or hidden telemetry.
🗄️ Your Data
Your records stay in the SQLite or PostgreSQL database on this server. You control access, backups, export, and deletion.
✋ Your Rights
You can view all your data on the dashboard, calendar, and stats pages, export a full machine-readable copy as CSV or JSON, change your password and recovery code, clear health records while keeping the account, or delete the account entirely. Under GDPR these correspond to the rights of access, rectification, portability, restriction, and erasure. The operator who runs this instance acts as the data controller and is the contact point for any request that the in-app controls cannot fulfil.
⏳ Retention
Ovumcy does not delete your records on a schedule. Cycle history, daily logs, and custom symptoms stay until you clear data or delete the account from settings. The operator running this instance may keep encrypted backups outside the application; ask them about backup retention.
🙈 Hidden sections and exports
When you hide an owner-only section in settings, Ovumcy only removes it from new dashboard and calendar entry forms. Saved values stay in your history and still appear in CSV and JSON exports until you delete them.
🔮 Predictions and automated decisions
Cycle and ovulation predictions are statistical summaries of your own logged days. They never trigger decisions with legal effects and they are not shared with anyone. Ovumcy stays conservative when data is sparse, switches to ranges in irregular-cycle mode, and suppresses predictions entirely when you enable unpredictable-cycle mode.
